Today was a beautiful, typical day for late May, and I hope days like this keep coming all summer long! When the clouds build the way they did today, it becomes a race with the clock to get into a spot that really shows off the play of light and shadows… and today I knew just where I wanted to be to catch the best of it. I was lucky enough to get in position just as the clouds started to cast shadows on the rocks in the Garden of the Gods, yet shine bright on the field of grass in front of me. I love fields of tall grass like this and to find one in the Springs was like finding photographic treasure!
